Tuesday I ate

Breakfast: Yogurt, granola, fresh blueberries
Lunch: Leftover lasagne.
Afternoon snack: Suzanne had a pie disaster, so we pounced and helped clean up

Also, there was a pre-promised doughnut run. Iced tea
Dinner: Leftover lasagne. Green salad

Monday I ate

Breakfast: Yogurt, granola, and fresh blueberries
Lunch: Peanut butter and jam on super soft brioche from TJ’s. Buffalo Bleu chips
Afternoon snack: TJ’s peppermints and some chocolate chips. Iced tea
Dinner: Lasagna, garlic bread, green salad.

Dessert: Suzanne was experimenting with a vanilla cream pie, but the crust failed. So we had a bowl of crumbly chocolate crust which we put on ice cream. Awesome.

Bears: The @greenhousebears still singing in the rain.

Sunday I ate

Breakfast: Cinnamon raisin toast with peanut butter
Lunch: Split a pork chili verde burrito from Casa Latina Bakery. Yum.
Afternoon snack: Chocolate chip cookies. Iced tea
Dinner: TJ’s frozen dumplings, rice, edemame
Dessert: A few peanut butter cups.

Bears: The @greenhousebears are still singing in the rain

Sunday I ate

Breakfast: Yogurt, granola, and fresh blueberries. Yay spring!
Lunch: Leftover prosciutto chicken. Eaten cold standing at the fridge because I got so freakin’ hungry while at the lumberyard buying wood for a new garden bed.
Afternoon snack: Milkshake (raspberry truffle) from Palo Alto Creamery. Took a drive down to Palo Alto to help Grandpa John set up a new Alexa
Dinner: Amazing. We had to take a seat out of the car to haul a dresser to storage, so Eliza couldn’t join us. Instead, she made dinner. We had some ground beef and she made an amazing Korean bulgogi sort of thing. Along with rice, beautifully dolloped out with a scoop and garnished with sesame seeds.
Dessert: Eliza also made chocolate chip cookies!

Bears: The @greenhousebears are getting ready for rain. Borrowed the umbrellas and rain boots from some little fans down the street.

Friday I ate

Breakfast: Yogurt & Granola + blueberries from our bushes. They just started putting out an amazing number of berries, there for the picking
Lunch: 1/2 peanut butter & jelly (well, strawberry jam) sandwich. Buffalo Bleu chips
Afternoon snack: TJ’s peppermints. Iced tea
Dinner: Prosciutto chicken with rice and asparagus
Dessert: Micky Bar!

Bears: The @greenhousebears are still watching a movie.

Thursday I ate

Breakfast: Yogurt and granola
Lunch: Leftover risotto
Afternoon snack: TJ’s peppermints. Iced tea
Dinner: Tacos with leftover sausage
Dessert: Vanilla cream pie and some experimental angel food cupcakes. A little flat, but mighty tasty

Wednesday I ate

Breakfast: A pear… from Harry & David pear of the month club. Unfortunately, this batch isn’t really getting ripe
Lunch: Peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Buffalo Bleu chips
Afternoon snack: TJ’s peppermints. Iced tea
Dinner: Risotto with sausage and asparagus

Dessert: Experimental cupcakes with swirled frosting (tried buttermilk cupcakes, then took a chance on angel food cupcakes which tasted amazing, but may not be photo worthy)

Afternoon snack: TJ’s peppermints. Iced tea
Dinner: Fettuccine carbonara with homemade pasta
Dessert: Experimental vanilla cream pie with chocolate-vanilla whipped cream

Monday I ate

Breakfast: Cinnamon-raisin toast with peanut butter
Lunch: Leftover chicken tikka masala
Afternoon snack: Ghirardelli chocolate squares. Iced tea
Dinner: Eliza and Tessa made tacos. Pretty awesome. They had some spices that ran out, so they found replacements, including cinnamon. Delicious
Dessert: Pavlova

Sunday I ate

Breakfast: Cinnamon-raisin toast with peanut butter
Lunch: Leftover chicken tikka masala
Afternoon snack: TJ’s peppermints. Iced tea
Dinner: Burgers. Stuffed with cambazola cheese (mistake… it gets too liquid and mostly runs out). Added deep fried onions… basically following the Serious Eats recipe on green bean casserole, but I didn’t have shallots so I used a red onion. For over-the-top-ness, avocados were ripe. It was awesome.
Dessert: Pavlova with swirled chocolate-vanilla whipped cream.
