Lunch: A piece of leftover pizza and 1/2 a peanut butter and jelly sandwich

Afternoon snack: A tiny bit of raspberry tart, Coke Zero
Dinner: Grilled chicken, broccoli, corn on the cob. Surprisingly good for so early in the season.
Dessert: Flourarrangements raspberry cream tart

Breakfast: (Brunch, really). Reuben sandwich at Sam’s Log. Cabin in Albany. Pretty good reuben, though I think my corned beef is better. Iced tea.
Afternoon snack: A little smoked trout with Ritz crackers
Dinner: Pizza from Costco
Dessert: A York peppermint patty

SATURDAY I ATE

Breakfast: Pancake
Lunch: Bacon cheeseburger and french fries at Lure + Till in Palo Alto. It was a delicious burger, with sharp cheddar and a nice bun. Diet Coke
Afternoon snack: A See’s candy. And a couple of gummy bears
Dinner: Leftover rice and chicken tikka Masala
Dessert: Coffee ice cream with hot fudge

Morning Snack: Apple
Lunch: Peanut butter and jelly sandwich
Afternoon snack: Hummus and pita chips. A crumb of cookie
Dinner: Chicken tika masala (recipe from Epicurious… first time we’ve tried this)
Dessert: The last of the raspberry tart

Dinner: Apple sausage, roasted potatoes, and artichoke. Green salad

Dessert: A new iteration of the experimental raspberry cream tart. Oh, this one is so awesome. Actually, this iteration was so-so, due to a ganache problem, but the filling was fabulous.

Morning Snack: A chocolate chip cookie with a smidge of chili powder in it. Delicious, thanks, Yoon
Lunch: Peanut butter and jelly sandwich
Afternoon snack: More cookies
Dinner: Pork tenderloin with Asian spice (Cooks’ Illustrated). With rice and an amazingly good artichoke
Dessert: Fresh chocolate chip cookies, saved dough from the batch I couldn’t eat last week. They were so good, warm out of the oven, that I had to even have some milk
