SATURDAY I ATE

Breakfast: Grapenuts, cranberry juice
Lunch: Sandwich made with leftover pork tenderloin, chedder cheese, hummus, and BBQ sauce. It was definitely an experiment, and not as bad as I thought it would be. Kinda good, in fact.
Afternoon snack:Diet Coke
Dinner:Crazy selection of appetizers at 25th reunion party. Sliders, slider sandwiches (turkey, ham, roast beef). Meat skewers. Bunch of stuff. Also, maybe a beer.

FRIDAY I ATE

Breakfast: Grapenuts, cranberry juice, parts of 2 strawberries. Also part of a Harry & David’s pear; damn those things are good. I don’t know why they are selling them at Trader Joe’s, but I’m happy about it.
Morning Snack: An apple
Lunch: leftover beef stew
Afternoon snack:A few pieces of candy. Coke zero
Dinner:Leftover pork tenderloin
Dessert: Another iteration of the experimental cranberry tart

THURSDAY I ATE

Breakfast: Grapenuts, cranberry juice, parts of 3 strawberries
Lunch: Ham and swiss with cranberry sauce on it. Kind of weird.
Afternoon snack:Halloween candy
Dinner:Eliza made a honey glazed pork tenderloin with roast carrots. There was talk of her making dinner every Thursday. Totally awesome.

Dessert: A new iteration of the cranberry tart. If you mix a sugar-cranberry syrup into whipped cream, it’s crazy-good.

WEDNESDAY I ATE

Breakfast: Grapenuts, cranberry juice, the little bits of 2 strawberries that were not either un-ripe or rotten. I think the season is pretty much over.
Lunch: Ham sandwich, swiss cheese, hummus.
Afternoon snack:A few Halloween candy and a chocolate chip cookies horked from a meeting I wasn’t even in.
Dinner: Beef stew, ceasar salad
Dessert: Experimental cranberry tart

TUESDAY I ATE

Breakfast: Grapenuts, cranberry juice, 3 strawberries, but they are only getting ripe about 1/2 way up
Morning Snack: Apple… a really huge honecrisp
Lunch: Ham sandwich, with cheddar and hummus
Afternoon snack: Candy. Discovered that if you cut a milky-way dark in half and dip it in chocolate nibs, it’s pretty damn good.
Dinner: Rice, beans, cheese, salsa

Lunch: ham sandwich with cheddar and hummus
Mid-afternoon snack: candy. Coke zero
Dinner: white bean soup, Eliza-made cornbread
Dessert: coffee ice cream with hot fudge

Breakfast: Pancakes

Lunch: Leftover stuffed pork chops

Afternoon Snack: A lot of leftover Halloween candy. Coke Zero

Dinner: 6 course French meal at friends’ house
Lentil chestnut Apple cider soup
Fruit skewer
Cotes de provence  2013 rose
Chicken with shallot butter, roasted potatoes, green beans.
_ saute shallot in butter and olive oil, reduce to goo, add wine or lemon juice
Salad with apple, pumpkin and pomegranate seeds

Breakfast: Grapenuts, cranberry juice, 2 strawberries

Lunch: ham and cheddar sandwich

Afternoon snack: just a ludicrous amount of ice cream, some homemade, some from a crazy-good ice cream place, with hot fudge and caramel sauce. Office party awesomeness

Dinner: pizza with cherries, garlic, and gorgonzola

Dessert: too much Halloween candy. But serving 150 trick or treaters works up an appetite

Afternoon snack:  Mocha Freedo at Peete’s

Dessert: Ice cream… only because I had to test out the hot fudge I made for tomorrow’s party
