Dinner: A new pasta Suzanne found… tomato and panchetta. from Epicurius.

Breakfast: Granola, cranberry juice
Lunch: A beef and potato pie from Peasant Pies. Also a green salad. Honestly, I really wanted to like this place, but I left disappointed. The pie was too small, so I had to get the salad, but the salad cost so much, I should have gotten another pie. But that would have been more than I wanted to eat. Add to that, the pie was really dry, and hard to eat served in a wicker basket. But still, the place is right near work, and I want to like it so much that I’ll go back. Also, I should have gotten the soup instead of the salad, but it was a hot day. Then someone sat down next to me eating it and it smelled really good.
Afternoon snack: A peanut butter cookie. Also a Peet’s mocha shake drink
Dinner: Apricot and arugula and siraccha pizza
Dessert: The last of the experimental baked alaska with chocolate ice cream. Surprisingly good after a couple of weeks in the freezer.
Breakfast: Hot tea
Lunch: Leftover pizza. Even better the next day
Afternoon snack: Red cheese, Ritz crackers, mint tea, Coke Zero
Dinner: Tacos
Dessert: Chocolate cupcakes with salted caramel frosting… Tessa’s baking project and oh, so good.
Breakfast: Doughnuts from Mira Vista in Richmond. I had high hopes… the place was nice, it was next to Home Depot, the people were friendly. But the donuts sucked. Overcooked, barely any custard, chocolate frosting doesn’t deserve the name.
Morning Snack: Some crackers and hummus
Lunch: Experimental apricot & sirracha pizza
Afternoon snack: Chocolate chip cookies, Coke Zero
Dinner: Split a Western Bacon Burger at Barney’s
Dessert: Some leftover experimental baked Alaska
Breakfast: Granola, cranberry juice
Lunch: Cheeseburger at the Berkeley Freehouse. Really good, with some sort of bacon marmalade. Iced tea
Afternoon snack: Coke zero, and a few squares of chocolate
Dinner: Pizza with onions, apricots, prosciutto, parsley, and siraccha
Dessert: Experimental black forest cake
Breakfast: Granola, cranberry juice
Lunch: Chicken club sandwich at Cafe 24, which is in my new building. I have to re-read the menu, but it came out as a chicken salad sandwich with bacon… not bad, but not what I was expecting
Afternoon snack: Chocolate cookie and iced tea from Starbucks
Dinner: Pizza with arugula, sirracha, onions and apricots. From Jupiter in Berkeley
Dessert: See’s candy
Breakfast: Granola, cranberry juice
Morning Snack: A cookie, just to be sure that they were suitable for a lemonade stand
Lunch: Leftover Zacchary’s pizza
Afternoon snack: Chocolate chip cookies and lemonade. Also loose chocolate chips and Coke Zero
Dinner: Leftover pork pie and cucumbers
Dessert: A last bit of cookie
Breakfast: Pancakes, bacon. The pancakes were some experimental lemon ones… very delicious, but maple syrup was all wrong
Lunch: Leftover Zachary’s pizza
Afternoon snack: Split a mocha thing from Peet’s with Tessa, which meant that I had to get decaf. Still, pretty good idea, since I didn’t need it all
Dinner: Experimental pork and apple pie. Really delicious, though it needed an extra flavor… maybe wine? or sage? Suzanne was going to look at the stuffed pork chops recipe and see what flavors those include
Dessert: Leftover chocolate cherry cake
Morning Snack: Flatbread with hummus
Lunch: Flatbread wrap with pre-cooked steak from TJ’s, gorgonzola, hummus. Leftover cupcakes from the 5th grade graduation yesterday. Not that we have 5th grader, but somehow we got roped into helping with 5th grade graduation and got a stack of cupcakes in exchange
Afternoon snack: Cupcake. These things are really gross, with bright blue frosting, but we have lots
Dinner: Zacchary’s pizza, green salad
Dessert: Experimental chocolate cherry cake
Morning Snack: Pita and honey… honey came as a gift with our new beehive. Expect honey to feature in a lot more meals from here on out
Lunch: Leftover stuffed spinach pizza
Afternoon snack: Java chip Frapuccino and half of a cookie on way home from hike at Pt Bonita
Dinner: Rotisserie chicken from Costco and corn on the cob
Dessert:
