Breakfast: Oatmeal with brown sugar
Lunch: Leftover chili with rice
Afternoon snack:Where to begin? Office holiday potluck. THere were waffles, there was smoked salmon. Cheese and crackers, yes please. And that’s just on the savory side. Then we had cookies, and cakes (Suzanne contributed a chocolate peppermint bundt cake), and a pie. and some candy. Woof.

Lunch: Squash and caramelized onion pizza at Hen House, a new place in downtown oakland
Afternoon snack:Milkyway Dark, Coke Zero
Dinner: Gorgonzolla gnocchi sort of thing
Dessert: Leftover peppermint chocolate cake

Breakfast: Grapenuts, cranberry juice
Lunch: Leftover spaghetti
Afternoon snack:Some of those little truffles from Trader Joe’s. Coke zero
Dinner:Pizza with zucchini, salami, and tomato sauce
Dessert: Another experimental peppermint cake

WEDNESDAY I ATE

Breakfast: Oatmeal with brown sugar
Lunch: Leftover rice and beans
Afternoon snack:Milky way dark, plus some of those little trader joes truffles. Plus some cheese and crackers that were left from someone’s meeting
Dinner: Spaghetti with a simple tomato sauce. Also a cabbage salad
Dessert: Experimental peppermint chocolate bundt cake

Lunch: Spicy pork burrito from the cheap place. Whose prices went up a buck.
Afternoon snack:Milkyway dark and coke zero
Dinner: Rice and beans and chicken and salsa
Dessert: Experimental chocolate mint bundt cake

MONDAY I ATE

Breakfast: Oatmeal with brown sugar
Morning Snack: half a chocolate croissant
Lunch: Chicken sandwich. Kettle chips. It appears that they may have discontinued the Buffalo Bleu flavor, which was my favorite. As a stand in, I bought Mapple bacon, which tasted like ass.
Afternoon snack:Milkyway Dark and Coke Zero
Dinner:Spaghetti with garlic, parsley, and breadcrumbs. It was a bit dry, really.
Dessert: Hot cocoa… recipe from Bittersweet cookbook which was nothing short of fantastic.

Location: Tiburon
Breakfast: Bacon quiche. Also mushroom quiche, and some fresh fruit
Lunch: Chicken breast, quinoa salad, roasted butternut squash salad.
Afternoon snack:Little cupcakes
Dinner:Minestrone soup with some of the leftover chicken from lunch
Dessert: Leftover peppermint bundt cake

THURSDAY I ATE

Breakfast: Yogurt and granola plus OJ at meeting
Morning Snack: Chocolate muffin
Lunch: Sandwich and butternut squash soup
Afternoon snack:Chocolate chip cookies and fudge brownies
Dinner: Le Garage in Sausalito… French hipster food in a hipster paradise… down by the docks in a wharf-like building filled with sail lofts and .com fortunes. Here’s how we rolled:
Starters of fried squash blossoms stuffed with honey goat cheese, plus a Assiette de Charcuterie (cured meat platter). I had a french plum glazed Alaskan black cod (sablefish) with chanterelles and a sunchoke puree. Delicious.
Dessert: Apparently this dinner wasn’t enough. When I got home, Suzanne had made an experimental chocolate mint bundt cake.
