Lunch: Indian buffet at some place on University in Berkeley… quite good
Afternoon snack: Some York peppermint patties. See’s candy sample
Dinner: Stuffed mushroom pizza from Zacchary’s. Greek salad.
Dessert: Another See’s candy

FRIDAY I ATE

Location: Tampa, FL
Lunch: Burrito pollo chile verde from Taco Bus in Tampa. It was a really amazing burrito. Diet Coke
Afternoon snack: Way too much candy from the conference booth
Dinner: Went to The Refinery with Chris Osovitz and Michelle. Had quail on rice with carrots, along with a side of caramelized carrots. Very good. Also tried the fish, which was nice, and the kale gnudi which was awesome.

THURSDAY I ATE

Location: Tampa, FL for BMES
Morning Snack: Booth candy
Lunch: Pulled pork and house-made potato chips from Holy Hog BBQ. Coke Zero.
Afternoon snack: More candy and cookies at conference
Dinner: Seriously crazy snacking at various university receptions at the conferencce… There was cheese, and crackers, and shrimp, and cuban sandwiches, and empanadas, and smoked meats, and artichoke-crab dip, and cupcakes, and diet pepsi, and holy shit, really?
Dessert: Not sure where dinner became dessert, but there was some of each.

Lunch: Split a pork burrito at Cactus. They really make one of the finest burrito’s in the area. Diet coke
Afternoon snack: Misc candy and a snowcone at the Solano Stroll
Dinner: Pizza from Costco. Green salad

TUESDAY I ATE

Breakfast: Granola, cranberry juice
Lunch: Chicken club sandwich at Cafe 24, which is in my new building. I have to re-read the menu, but it came out as a chicken salad sandwich with bacon… not bad, but not what I was expecting
Afternoon snack: Chocolate cookie and iced tea from Starbucks
Dinner: Pizza with arugula, sirracha, onions and apricots. From Jupiter in Berkeley
Dessert: See’s candy

Dinner: Potluck dinner with some yummy sandwiches, chips and guac, pasta, some beet and radish salad that Suzanne liked, chocolate chip cookies, Suzanne’s experimental chocolate cherry brownies

SATURDAY I ATE

Breakfast: Hot tea
Morning Snack: Red cheese & Ritz crackers
Lunch: Leftover chicken on flatbread with hummus and shredded veggies
Afternoon snack: Chocolate chips, lemonade, Coke Zero
Dinner: Random packet of frozen pulled pork from a year ago. Probably not advised to eat it, but it was fucking good.

Breakfast: Granola, cranberry juice
Morning Snack: Salted peanuts and a few pieces of cheese
Lunch: Ham sandwich with avocado
Afternoon snack: Gelato from Zia’s in El Dorado Hills. I had a Blackberry Lemonade / Dark chocolate-cherry. A really fabulous combination. Also, iced tea.
Dinner: Family style Chinese food at Great Wall in Lafayette. OK, but definitely uninspired… could use a lot more spice and even flavor.

Breakfast: Toast with butter and honey
Morning Snack: Lemon blueberry bars with whipped cream (people at work are awesome!)
Lunch: Turkey sandwich with cheddar and hummus
Afternoon snack: A small raspeberry pecan brownie (people at work are awesome!), some M&M’s, Coke Zero
Dinner: Half a leftover chicken sandwich from Barney’s, plus some rice and beans
Dessert: Some leftover easter candy(people at work are awesome!)
Late Night Snack: Some cheese and crackers and hummus for visiting friends who hadn’t eaten dinner yet
