TUESDAY I ATE

Breakfast: Grapenuts, cranberry juice, 2 strawberries

LunchCarnitas burrito from El Gusano. This was a serious piece of eating, and really good. The meat was juicy, which is kind of unusual for a carnitas. It’s a big, sit down place, and it gets pretty busy at lunch.

Afternoon snack: 1 little tiny reeses thing. And a coke zero. The burrito was still with me.

Dinner:  Leftover spaghetti bolognese and a salad from the garden.

Dessert: A cookie left from the ferris wheel cake.

MONDAY I ATE

Breakfast: Grapenuts, cranberry juice, 6 strawberries

LunchLeftover butternut squash rissoto

Afternoon snack: Chocolate cake. Thanks Hayley! Coke zero

Dinner:  Junk food extravaganza: Hot dog, pizza, and bbq beef sandwich. At Costco.

THURSDAY I ATE

Breakfast: Grapenuts, cranberry juice, 6 strawberries

LunchLeftover meatloaf cups

Dinner:  All sorts of hors d’oeuvres at some reception

Dessert: Well, I was kind of hungry, so I had some leftover mashed potatoes with bolognese sauce. And then some chocolate bark.

TUESDAY I ATE

Breakfast: Scone of some sort (meeting day)

LunchHam sandwich

Afternoon snack: Chocolate chip cookie. Coke zero

Dinner:  A bunch of small plates from Tamarindo Antojeria. Very tasty, although if I’d been paying, I might have thought they were a bit small

Dessert: The flan at dinner was kind of lame… had a bunch of strawberries on vanilla ice cream when I got home

Dinner:  Bread and tomato salad

Dessert: Eliza’s mint brownies

LunchChicken sandwich with hummus

Afternoon snack:  Pete’s mocha fredo. I had a document to read, and it required up-picking.

Dinner:  Pork tenderloin, corn, BLT corn salad

Dessert: Rood beer floats

LunchLeftover pizza

Afternoon snack: A couple of York’s. They were soooo necessary after 4 hours of meetings into the afternoon. Plus a Coke Zero.

Dinner: Pasta with tomatoes

Dessert: Nibby shortbread cookies.

Breakfast: Grapenuts, cranberry juice, 4 strawberries

LuinchLeftover tomato/bread salad

Afternoon snack: A few squares of chocolate from Trader Joes… amazingly good. Also a Coke Zero, but it was right after I read a piece in Nature about artificial sweeteners causing changes in the gut biomes of mice, and it kind of bummed me out.

Dinner:  Leftover pizza while listening to music in the park… an Albany fall tradition

Dessert: Experimental nibby shortbread

Afternoon snack:  Coke zero

Dinner:  Pizza with pesto, fresh tomatoes, prosciutto, mozarella

Dessert: Leftover s’mores tart. Looks like the last slice.

Morning Snack: Apple. Good find cleaning out the fridge at work.

LunchChicken sandwich

Afternoon snack:  Chocolate-covered apricots. Coke zero.

Dinner:  Ramen soup.  Eliza made it.

Dessert: Leftover s’mores tart. Gonna be sad when this well runs dry.
