WEDNESDAY I ATE

Breakfast: Grapenuts, cranberry juice, 4 strawberries

LuinchLeftover tomato/bread salad

Afternoon snack: A few squares of chocolate from Trader Joes… amazingly good. Also a Coke Zero, but it was right after I read a piece in Nature about artificial sweeteners causing changes in the gut biomes of mice, and it kind of bummed me out.

Dinner:  Leftover pizza while listening to music in the park… an Albany fall tradition

Dessert: Experimental nibby shortbread

TUESDAY I ATE

Breakfast: Grapenuts, cranberry juice, 5 strawberries.

LunchHam and hummus sandwich.

Afternoon snack:  Coke zero

Dinner:  Pizza with pesto, fresh tomatoes, prosciutto, mozarella

Dessert: Leftover s’mores tart. Looks like the last slice.

MONDAY I ATE

Breakfast: Grapenuts, cranberry juice, lots o’ strawberries.

Morning Snack: Apple. Good find cleaning out the fridge at work.

LunchChicken sandwich

Afternoon snack:  Chocolate-covered apricots. Coke zero.

Dinner:  Ramen soup.  Eliza made it.

Dessert: Leftover s’mores tart. Gonna be sad when this well runs dry.

SUNDAY I ATE

Breakfast: Grapenuts, cranberry juice, strawberries. Lots of strawberries.

Morning Snack: Red cheese

LunchChicken sandwich from one of the booths at the Solano Stroll… There were a lot of options, but sadly, when we were hungry for lunch we were in an area of the street that had less good options. Next year: be up at the top of the stroll at lunch time.

Afternoon snack:  Gourmet popsicle from Popnation cart. These were pretty awesome, though it depended on the flavvor. By far, my favorite was the strawberry lemonade. 

Dinner:  Gorgonzola -stuffed burgers. This time, I remembered the bacon, too.

Dessert:  S’mores tart… the photo version

FRIDAY I ATE

Breakfast: Grapenuts, cranberry juice, 2 strawberries. There will be a lot more tomorrow.

Afternoon snack:  Still recovering from lunch, but had a bite of the s’mores tart I was taking home from the potluck.

Dinner:  Split a burger at Barneys

Breakfast: Grapenuts, cranberry juice, 4 strawberries. Bumper crop… hope they don’t peter out.

LunchLeftover stuffed chicken sandwich with hummus

Afternoon snack:  Coke zero. 

Dinner:  Tomato Tart and salad with beets from the garden

Dessert: Mint tart… no complaints about 2 tarts in a day!

MONDAY I ATE

Breakfast: Grapenuts, cranberry juice, 4 strawberries! A plethora this morning

LunchLeftover bread and tomato salad. I think this has a fancy-ass name, but I just called it delicious.

Afternoon snack:  Chocolate chip cookie from Aroma Cafe. Really the best chocolate chip cookies I’ve found, and only $1.

Dinner: Nibby waffles. Eliza’s recipe, plus nibs. With syrup and whipped cream and extra nibs.
