Afternoon snack: Iced butterbeer (yummy! if a trifle sweet). Java Chip Frapuccino. Coke zero.
Dinner: Split a chicken salad at Wolfgang Puck’s in City Walk

Lunch: A pretty amazing carnitas burrito covered in mole at Los Moles in Emmeryville. It was a lot of food, but great. Also half a churro. Diet Coke

Dinner: A chicken dish out of Mario Batali cookbook… it was Ok. Also, rice and green beans.

Lunch: Went to Angeline’s Louisiana Kitchen in Berkeley. I had the Creole shrimp, which was delicious. Also the chocolate pot de creme, which was outstanding. Plus “Swamp water” which is iced tea and lemonade. Apparently, they used to call it an Arnold Palmer, but maybe that wasn’t Louisiana enough. Great spot; look forward to going back.

Dessert: Leftover angel food cake with strawberry ice cream. Also some snacking while making chocolate chip cookie dough bars and lemon bars for various Halloween parties
