SATURDAY I ATE

Morning Snack: Chocolate chip cookie and iced tea… needed to justify my existence in the coffee shop somehow.
Lunch: Leftover pizza roll
Afternoon snack: Diet coke
Dinner: Burger at MoMo’s in San Francisco after the boat show. Just a very basic burger, but it was really well cooked and delicious.
Dessert: experimental meringue cookies

WEDNESDAY I ATE

Breakfast: Grapenuts, cranberry juice
Morning Snack: Apple
Lunch: Turkey sandwich
Afternoon snack: French fries smothered in white gravy with a side of pulled pork. Astonishingly, I hod nothing to do with ordering this, and was seated in front of it along with several vegetarians who were no help at all
Dinner: Ate at Costco. Since I was stuffed with fries and pork (see above) I just nibbled other people’s pizza and bbq beef sandwich.
Dessert: Leftover lemon bars

THURSDAY I ATE

Breakfast: Grapenuts, cranberry juice
Lunch: Leftover black bean soup
Afternoon snack: A few milky way darks, Coke zero.
Dinner: Another iteration of the pizza rolls. Tomato sauce and prosciutto. These were slightly smaller than before. Two of them was almost dinner. Had a salad to put it over the top.

SUNDAY I ATE

Breakfast: Pancakes with syrup and applesauce
Morning Snack: Pancake sandwiches with penuche frosting and chocolate chips. This was a spur-of-the-moment decision as there were some leftover pancakes just sitting there at the same time Suzanne decided that a batch of frosting wasn’t properly spreadable and decided to make another. These were fantastic.

Lunch: Leftover pizza rolls
Afternoon snack: Hot cocoa. Coke zero.
Dinner: Burger stuffed with gorgonzolla, topped with saute’d onions and in a bun made from the pizza roll recipe. I tried something I’ve wanted to do for a while: cook the stuffed burgers sous vide. It was a successful experiment, but I should have charred them more at the end.
I also added some mozarella to try to bind the blue cheese, and that was wholly successful.

Dessert: The photo version of the banana blondies with penuche frosting for Flourarrangements

FRIDAY I ATE

Breakfast: Oatmeal with brown sugar
Lunch: Leftover Mac&Cheese
Afternoon snack: Coke zero, plus some double stuff Oreos. Damn, but those are good!
Dinner: Experimental pizza rolls. Very, very tasty. A lot like the cheese zombies.
Dessert: None. Can you believe it? Of course, the day isn’t over yet.

THURSDAY I ATE

Breakfast: Oatmeal with brown sugar
Lunch: Leftover Zacchary’s pizza
Afternoon snack: An amazing chocolate cake with chocolate ganache that Eve made for a work party. Also: Coke zero
Dinner: Mac and Cheese. Green salad
Dessert: Just a bite of the persimmon cake

WEDNESDAY I ATE

Breakfast: Grapenuts, cranberry juice
Lunch: Turkey sandwich with cranberry
Afternoon snack: 2 milky way dark, coke zero
Dinner: Stuffed spinach and mushroom pizza from Zacchry’s
Dessert: Experimental persimmon cake (for Suzanne’s dad). It was way better than I was expecting… more like a carrot cake (which I also don’t love). So I’d never order it for my birthday, but I started with the smallest sliver I could cut and ended up going back for more.

SATURDAY I ATE

Breakfast:  Grapenuts, cranberry juice, many, many strawberries

LunchChicken sandwich.

Afternoon snack:  Scraps of chocolate cake that Suzanne was baking

Dinner:  Pizza from Little Star at the “dinner with Albany” event. They close down Solano, and 3,000 people eat in the street. We went with Daniel and Gita and family. We got heavily into the table decoration, going for a Solano Stroll carnival theme, but didn’t quite get it done in time for the judges

Dessert: A totally amazing carousel cake as part of the decorations. Suzanne probably won’t post it to flourarrangements, but it was totally awesome. Palomi’s friends kept stopping by asking for some, and finally, she and Eliza just took slices on the road and handed them out.
