Saturday I ate

Breakfast: Granola with yogurt. Just a few blueberries – the crop is starting to fade. Also a few loganberries from Doug
Lunch: chicken sandwich with the onion jam
Afternoon snack: Eliza and Skya made cookies. Ate some dough. Iced tea.
Dinner: Amazing tri tip… from the freezer with the Adam Perry Lang honey glaze. Sous vide for 5 or 6 hours at 135. Then glazed and hit with blowtorch and grill. Also Caesar salad from Flourarrangements. Plus potatoes.
Dessert: More cookies

Afternoon snack: TJ’s peppermints. Iced tea

Thursday I ate

Breakfast: Cinnamon raisin toast with peanut butter. Pear
Lunch: Grilled chicken sandwich with some sort of onion jam from TJ’s. Chips.
Afternoon snack: TJ’s peppermints. Iced tea
Dinner: Picked up Chinese food from Great Wall to take to Grandpa’s house
Dessert: Lemon-blueberry swirl ice cream

Sunday I ate

Breakfast: Yogurt, granola, fresh blueberries
Lunch: Leftover Little Star pizza
Afternoon snack: Leftover experimental Swiss roll. Iced tea
Dinner: made blue cheese stuffed burgers using Beyond Meat. They were a reasonable success. Cooked them sous vide @ 140F for 50 minutes. Then seared on grill with blowtorch. Might have over seared them a bit. Flavor was decent. Not exactly like meat, but not bad, either. Texture was very similar to well done burger. Would definitely do again.
Dessert: Hot fudge sundae

Breakfast: strawberry bagel with cream cheese and blueberries
Lunch: salami and cheese sandwich
Afternoon snack: peppermint milkshake from Palo Alto creamery
Dinner: Eliza made her Korean beef recipe with Beyond Meat. Good, though it overcooked pretty quickly
Dessert: none

Friday I ate

Breakfast: Strawberry bagel with cream cheese and blueberries
Lunch: Turkey sandwich with cream cheese, strawberries, and arugula on a strawberry bagel. Buffalo bleu chips
Afternoon snack: Ghirardelli chocolate squares. Iced tea
Dinner: Little Star stuffed pizza
Dessert: Experimental Swiss roll cake. As a roll, it was a total fail, but it was sure tasty! Busted into the new 10 Lb bar of Guitard chocolate.

Breakfast: Strawberry bagel with cream cheese and blueberries. Pear

Lunch: Turkey and salami sandwich with cheddar cheese on a strawberry bagel. Not gonna lie, it was a little… different? But pretty good.

Afternoon snack: Some peanut butter cups. Iced tea

Dinner: Spaghetti with zucchini. Green salad

Dessert: Eliza was making cookies. Stole some dough.

Breakfast: Experimental strawberry bagel. Half with peanut butter, half cream cheese. I think cream cheese was better.
Lunch: Peanut butter and jelly sandwich on strawberry bagel. Buffalo bleu chips
Afternoon snack: Ghirardelli chocolate square. Iced tea
Dinner: Spaghetti with cheese and pepper. Brussels sprouts with bacon and maple syrup
